Tiene muchos encantos tanto la ciudad
Como los palmeños y palmeñas
Pues cuando ya se va ocultando el sol en el poniente
Coronándose de bellos colores como se visten sus mujeres
Se dibujan magníficos ocasos, color de cielo azul
y de arrebol

So many enchantments, the city
the Palmeños and Palmeñas
when the sun, already beginning to hide on the horizon
Crowns itself with the beautiful colors that dress its women-
Drawing magnificent sunsets, color of the blue sky
Blushing red
